His research focuses on digital and intelligent approaches to health behavior monitoring and governance, particularly in the areas of vaccination, cancer prevention and control, and physician behavior. He has served as a visiting scholar at Harvard University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and the World Health Organization. He has led multiple national- and provincial-level research projects, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has contributed as a core investigator to the National Key Research and Development Program of China and key projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals, including Nature Medicine, npj Digital Medicine, and the Bulletin of the World Health Organization. He has also been included in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list.
