Factors impacting sustained coverage in the context of donor transitions: experience from Sri Lanka
The study evaluated transition experiences from Sri Lanka of the expanded programme on immunization (EPI) that received Gavi funding. The EPI programme showed sustained coverage of Gavi-funded vaccines post-transition and the funding gap was bridged by mobilizing domestic financing facilitated by the Gavi co-financing mechanism, full integration within existing service delivery structures, well-established and favourable pharmaceutical procurement processes for the public sector and stewardship and financial advocacy by technically competent managers.

Effectiveness of a School- and Primary Care–Based HPV Vaccination Intervention-The PrevHPV Cluster Randomized Trial
This cluster randomized trial carried out in 91 municipalities found that free HPV vaccination on school premises was the only component that consistently and significantly increased vaccination coverage by 5.50% 2 months after the end of the intervention. Subgroup analyses found a significant interaction between at-school vaccination and access to GPs, with a higher effect when access was poor (8.62 % vs 2.13%). No significant effect was found of training general practitioners and educating and motivating adolescents and their parents.

Effectiveness of 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine for prevention of invasive pneumococcal disease among children in the United States between 2010 and 2019: An indirect cohort study
VE≥3 PCV13 doses against VT-IPD was 90.2%. Among the most commonly circulating VT-IPD serotypes, VE of ≥ 3 PCV13 doses was 86.8 %, 50.2 %, and 93.8 % against serotypes 19A, 3, and 19F, respectively. In conclusion, at least three doses of PCV13 continue to be effective in preventing VT-IPD among children aged < 5 years in the US. PCV13 was protective against serotypes 19A and 19F IPD.

Public health and economic benefits of seasonal influenza vaccination in risk groups in France, Italy, Spain and the UK: state of play and perspectives
As of the 2021/2022 season, the UK achieved the highest weighted vaccination coverage rate (VCR) across risk groups (65%), followed by Spain (47%), France (44%) and Italy (44%). Based on modelling, the 2021/2022 VCR prevented an estimated 1.9 million influenza cases, avoiding 375,200 GP visits, 73,200 hospitalisations and 38,400 deaths. To achieve the WHO 75% VCR target, an additional 24 million at-risk individuals would need to be vaccinated, most of which being older adults and patients with chronic conditions.
