Dr. Min Wang from Fosun Pharma emphasized the significance of RSV vaccination during the pregnancy, specifically highlighting the efficacy and recommended timing of RSV vaccination to protect infants during seasonal outbreaks.
Dr. Hong Jiang from School of Public Health, Fudan University, introduced the guidelines and current status of maternal vaccination in China. She reviewed global guidelines and guidelines from other countries, shared research findings to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of maternal vaccines, and encouraged more research to generate evidences to support maternal vaccination and reduce the burden of vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs).
