The study was categorized into a pre-COVID-19 cohort, a COVID-19 low-prevalence cohort, a COVID-19 high-prevalence cohort, and a post-COVID-19 cohort based on when the sample became eligible for vaccination, compared to baseline vaccine promptness rates through regression analysis. The study confirmed a causal association between the impact of different COVID-19 epidemic conditions on routine vaccination coverage, underlining the significance of maintaining a resilient vaccination infrastructure and initiating supplementary vaccination campaigns promptly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.vaccine.2023.12.014\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.vaccine.2023.12.014<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>02<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Modeling the optimal seasonal monoclonal antibody administration strategy for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) prevention based on age-season specific hospitalization rate of RSV in Suzhou, China, 2016\u20132022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vaccine modeled and evaluated the effects of different vaccination strategies with monoclonal antibodies on preventing hospitalization for RSV-associated acute lower respiratory tract infections. According to the findings, the optimal mAb administration strategy season for children in Suzhou would be to administrate monoclonal antibodies to children born in July to January at birth and then to administrate the remaining children under 1 year of age in September or October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.vaccine.2023.11.054\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.vaccine.2023.11.054<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>03<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>An incentive mechanism contract model to coordinate a vaccine supply chain under demand uncertainty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The vaccine supply chain is the cornerstone of effective vaccination. This study focuses on \u201cVSC performance improvement of India by proposing supply contracts under demand uncertainty.\u201d The study was published in <em>Industrial Management &amp; Data System<\/em>, in which the authors proposed three contracts of \u201cwholesale price (WSP), cost sharing (CS) and incentive mechanism (IM)\u201d for the government-operated immunization program in India and contextualized the models with the 2019 New Crown Epidemic in India realities of India&#8217;s new crown epidemic in 2019, showing that incentive mechanism contracts can improve the overall efficiency of the system by 23.72%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1108\/IMDS-06-2023-0373\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1108\/IMDS-06-2023-0373<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>04<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Group-based trajectory models of integrated vaccine delivery and equity in low- and middle-income countries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Integrated vaccine delivery \u2013 the linkage of routine vaccination with other essential health services \u2013 \u201cis a hallmark of a sound primary health care system.\u201d In the study published in the <em>International Journal for Equity in Health<\/em>, a subset of BMC, the team used cohort-based trajectory modeling analysis to collect longitudinal data on routine immunization coverage and vaccination equity in 78 low- and middle-income countries that had previously received Gavi support for the study. The results demonstrate that vaccination equity can be significantly increased in settings with high levels of baseline inequity by implementing integrated vaccination services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1186\/s12939-023-02088-x\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1186\/s12939-023-02088-x<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>05<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A comprehensive narrative review of challenges and facilitators in the implementation of various HPV vaccination program worldwide<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This descriptive review, published in <em>Cancer Medicine<\/em>, discusses existing HPV vaccination strategies, unmet needs, challenges that need to be addressed, and collaborations that need to be reached to achieve appropriate vaccination coverage. The article highlights the significant influence that well-coordinated vaccination strategies can have on lowering disease rates globally; HPV vaccination programs \u201cfocus on adolescent girls and if possible, boys can lead to dramatic impact on disease reduction around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1002\/cam4.6862\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1002\/cam4.6862<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>06<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The immunogenicity and safety of Group B Streptococcal maternal vaccines: A systematic review<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A systematic review published by <em>Vaccine<\/em> showed that all candidate vaccines against group B streptococcus (GBS) for pregnant women have good immunogenicity and safety. The most promising vaccine candidates are multivalent conjugate vaccinations based on broad-spectrum surface subunit protein vaccines or podoplanar polysaccharide (CPS) vaccines. Over the last 50 years, the <em>Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI)<\/em> has evolved and achieved great success, reshaping the global health landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/news-room\/events\/detail\/2024\/01\/01\/default-calendar\/50th-anniversary-of-the-expanded-programme-on-immunization-(epi)\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.who.int\/news-room\/events\/detail\/2024\/01\/01\/default-calendar\/50th-anniversary-of-the-expanded-programme-on-immunization-(epi)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>08<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The United States Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices issues recommended immunization schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In October 2023, the <em>U.S. Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP)<\/em> approved the updated Recommended Immunization Schedule.
